40 days before Easter in Great Britain celebrate this festival. Pupils in our school celebrate it too...
Cooking and tasting delicious pancakes in Lupe's classroom. Pupils in grade 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th participate in this amazing activity.

40 días antes de Pascua en Gran Bretaña se celebra el Día de las tortitas. Los alumnos de nuestro cole lo celebramos también cocinando y degustando tortitas en la clase de Lupe. Los niños y niñas de 1º, 4º, 5º y 6º participamos de esta divertida actividad.

PANCAKE DAY

Pancake Day is always on a Tuesday in February or March. It is the day before Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent. Lent is a period of 40 days before Easter when people often give up or stop eating things that are bad for them like chocolate or fast food. At the end of Lent is Easter. Easter takes place on a different date each year because it depends on the moon. Easter Sunday is the first Sunday after the first full moon of spring.
O lo que es lo mismo el dia de las tortitas... como no estábamos el martes de carnaval, el día antes del miércoles de ceniza... lo hemos celebrado esta semana, hemos trabajado los verbos, los alimentos y los textos instructivos como son las recetas en el área de inglés y hemos hecho muchos pancakes!!!! el edificio B olia GLORIUSLY!!!!!.
